The Bluegrass 10,000 10K route starts at Downtown Lexington at the intersection of North Limestone and Main Street (near the Fayette County Circuit Court, 120 North Limestone) and finishes line on Main Street in downtown Lexington, at the start/finish at North Limestone and Main Street. Underfoot, expect road. It passes Main Street, North Limestone, downtown business district, downtown historic district and Thoroughbred Park. A 1-mile Fun Run ($25 standard) starts at 8:30 a.m. on Short Street, runs through downtown and into Thoroughbred Park, and joins the Bluegrass 10,000 route for the finish.
Run on closed downtown Lexington streets including Main Street and Short Street on the morning of July 4.
