Walker-friendly planning
A walker-friendly marathon search starts with time on course. This shortlist uses source-backed marathon cut-offs of seven hours or more, then favours route maps, gentler profile evidence, open or mixed entry signals and clear costs where RaceIndex holds them.
How the shortlist works
Every candidate needs a source-backed cut-off of at least 7h. Shorter limits are left to the main cut-off guide.
Where ascent is held, the guide favours gentler courses. Stored route maps and elevation profiles make the evidence easier to inspect.
RaceIndex does not infer that walkers are officially allowed from the cut-off alone. Check organiser rules before entering.

RaceIndex starts with a source-backed cut-off of at least 7h for this distance, then shows route maps, elevation profiles, ascent, entry model and cost signals where available.
No. These are RaceIndex walker-friendly candidates from current cut-off and route evidence. A cut-off time is not the same as an organiser walker policy, so runners should check the organiser rules before entering.
Long trail and ultra-style cut-offs can hide difficult terrain, navigation or support requirements. This guide filters obvious outliers so the list stays focused on road or mixed-surface race intent.
A marathon appears here only when RaceIndex has a source-backed cut-off time and enough walker-friendly evidence to pass the guide guardrail. The current page has 64 qualifying race pages.
