What we publish

We turn organiser information, route files and clearly labelled derived measurements into pages that help athletes compare the practical trade-offs between endurance events. A page can include a confirmed date and location, distance or format, route geometry, elevation, terrain, cut-off, entry fee, typical conditions and source links where those fields have passed publication checks.

Missing values stay missing. A race does not receive an invented route, score, fee or date simply to complete a template.

Editorial and data standards

  • Important factual claims link to an organiser or other identified source where available.
  • Derived route and elevation values use versioned methods and carry verification dates.
  • Automated numeric plausibility checks quarantine impossible or contradictory values before publication.
  • Editorial copy must be grounded in published facts; unsupported claims are withheld.
  • Commercial relationships do not alter the evidence gates or ranking method.

Corrections and contact

Race details change and extraction errors are possible. Send the page URL, the field you believe is wrong and a supporting source to hello@raceindex.org. Confirmed material errors are corrected on the page and recorded in the public log.

Publisher identity

The publisher name used across the site, metadata and structured data is raceindex.org. The full domain is used deliberately to distinguish this publication from similarly named endurance products. A documented brand-entity review gates any large-scale publicity campaign.
