The Maratona do Funchal (Funchal Marathon) 5 Mile route starts at Avenida Doutor Pita, Funchal and finishes at Bus parking lot in front of Casa da Luz, Funchal. It passes Rua do Aljube, Estrada Monumental, Praça ASSICOM, Avenida do Infante and Casino. Three distances on a single morning: full Marathon (~42.195 km), Half Marathon (~21 km) and Mini Marathon (~8.3 km), all run on a largely flat city circuit through central Funchal.
