Official course linksThe Hattiesburg Half Marathon, 10K & 5K route starts at Downtown Hattiesburg in front of the Historic Saenger Theater, 201 Forrest St (intersection of Forrest St & W Front St) and finishes on the Longleaf Trace rail-trail. Underfoot, expect a road course. The setting includes city and forest. Charity-driven 'Gives Miles' model: local Pine Belt nonprofits each adopt and decorate a mile of the course, recruit mile sponsors and charity runners, and provide volunteers for water stations and safety.
Packet pickup at the Jackie Dole Sherrill Community Center, 220 W Front Street (Friday 3-7pm; Saturday 5:30-6:30am as a last resort). Staggered starts by distance (half 7:00, 10K 7:05, 5K 7:10). Live entertainment and music along the course, with each beneficiary nonprofit decorating and managing a mile and providing racecourse entertainment.
