Where does the Run with the Horses Marathon (Green River) 5K route go?
The Run with the Horses Marathon (Green River) 5K route starts at All four distances start together at 7:00 a.m. in front of the pavilion at Expedition Island. Underfoot, expect a road course. It passes Expedition Island, Greenbelt Trail, Green River, Wild Horse Loop Tour Road and 1st Springs Canyon. Held annually on the 3rd weekend of August in conjunction with Green River's River Festival, which features a Cajun shrimp boil, craft vendors, beer gardens, a live band, food trucks and fireworks.
