Roads are closed to traffic for the race and reopen at approximately 11:30am. Live bands, music and large crowds line the streets of Manchester, giving the race a festive Thanksgiving-morning atmosphere with over 30,000 spectators. Course rules: no wheels of any kind (in-line skates, baby strollers, bicycles) and no pets allowed on the course.
