Billed as probably the most beautiful road race in Britain, with a reputation as one of the best organised small races in the country.
Run as a sustainable road race: electronic timing and a website reduce paper and postage, tap water in recyclable paper cups replaces bottled water, and cups/bottles are collected straight after the race for recycling via South Lakeland Council.
