The Key West Half Marathon & Runfest route starts at About 100 yards from the corner of Caroline Street & Trumbo Road (near West Marine), Key West and finishes at Near Margaret Street & Caroline Street, behind the Waterfront Brewery and close to the Half Shell Raw Bar, Key West. Underfoot, expect road. It passes Old Town Key West, Key West waterfront, Cow Key Channel bridge, Stock Island and Atlantic Ocean shoreline. Cup-free race: there is water at the start and finish and roughly every 2 miles, but runners must bring their own vessel to fill up.
Bag check available 6:00 am-6:45 am each race morning (Saturday at Salute! On the Beach near Higgs Beach; Sunday at the finish line parking area). Post-race concerts: Homebred Band with reggae artist Dave Richards after the Saturday 5K/10K, and Cayo Ritmo Big Band after the Sunday half marathon. 7. BEAST PACING provides eight pace groups: 1:40, 1:50, 2:00, 2:10, 2:20, 2:30, 2:45 and 3:00.
