The Bayshore Marathon, Half Marathon & 10K (Traverse City) route starts at Northwestern Michigan College campus, Traverse City; the course winds through about one mile of residential neighbourhoods before reaching the bay shoreline and finishes at Traverse City Central High School track, with the final 200 metres run on the track. Underfoot, expect 100% paved roads; flat with shaded sections, running along the East Arm of Grand Traverse Bay. It passes Northwestern Michigan College, Grand Traverse Bay East Arm, Lake Michigan shoreline, Old Mission Peninsula cherry orchards and Birchwood Drive. Held on the Saturday of Memorial Day weekend.
