The Eversource Hartford Marathon route starts at Capitol Avenue at the front lawn of the Connecticut State Capitol Building, Hartford and finishes at Just past the Soldiers & Sailors Memorial Arch in Bushnell Park, downtown Hartford. Underfoot, expect paved roads and paved park trails. It passes Connecticut State Capitol, Mark Twain House, Harriet Beecher Stowe House, University of St. Joseph and Elizabeth Park Rose Garden. Crosses the Founders Bridge into East Hartford, passes through Great River Park along the Connecticut River, and runs the New England homes and farmland of historic Main Street in South Windsor before returning to the downtown finish.
Elite corral plus three seeded corrals and an open self-seed corral. Post-race live music on the Bushnell Park stage and a beer garden with one complimentary beverage for participants 21+. Free Fleet Feet Hartford pace teams provided for the marathon and half marathon, assembling near the Lafayette Statue ~15 minutes before the start.
