Cut-off
Course remains open for 6 hours and closes at 2:00 PM (8:00 AM start). Participants finishing after the course closes do not receive a finisher medal or appear in race results.
Qualification status
Boston Marathon qualifier; the HMRRC reports that on average about 30 percent of Boston Marathon runners qualify at the Mohawk Hudson. Note: if a runner is stopped at the mile 17 18 railroad crossing, adjusted times are used for race awards but unadjusted (full on Course) times are reported to the BAA for Boston qualification.
