The Ed Anacker Bridger Ridge Run 32K route starts at Fairy Lake / Sacagawea trailhead, elevation 7,600 ft, north end of the Bridger Range and finishes at Fish Hatchery lawns at the Drinking Horse trailhead, elevation 4,900 ft (finish moved here in 2022). Underfoot, expect mountain trail with significant sections of steep loose rock and talus and stretches with no clear trail, plus well-maintained Foothills Trail and a final mowed-path crossing to the finish. It passes Sacagawea Peak, South Peak, Ross Pass, Naya Nuki Peak and Ross Peak. Runner's World (2012) named it one of its top trail races for 'Most Raw Exposure' and Outside Online (2013) listed it among its top 10 bucket-list trail runs.
4. Three official aid stations: Ross Pass, Bridger Bowl and Mt. Baldy, plus an emergency station partway down from Mt. Baldy. Failure to be checked off at the summit results in disqualification.
