The NUTS Pyhä -polkujuoksu 11K route starts at Hotel Pyhätunturi yard area, Kultakeronkatu 21, 98530 Pyhätunturi (Pelkosenniemi) and finishes at Hotel Pyhätunturi event centre; the finish concludes on a soft ski slope. Underfoot, expect mixed trail: gravel paths, boardwalks, stairs, soft ski-track bases, cart paths and technical trails on the fell slopes, finishing on a soft ski slope. It passes Aittakuru, Karhunjuomalampi, Kultakero, Pyhä-Luosto National Park and Noitatunturi. Short but full of Lapland's magic: the 10 km route takes runners through Aittakuru's landscapes, past Karhunjuomalampi, up Kultakero and back to the event centre.
