The Black Hills 100 Ultramarathon route starts at 100 Mile starts at Sturgis City Park (Friday 10:00 AM). The shorter distances start up-trail and run back to Sturgis: 50 Mile from Silver City (Saturday 6:00 AM), 50K from Dalton Lake Road (Saturday 8:00 AM), 30K from Runkle Road (Saturday 9:00 AM) and finishes at All distances finish at Sturgis City Park in Sturgis, South Dakota. Underfoot, expect mostly single-track trail with some short sections of old logging roads and a stretch of double-track ATV trail; dirt and rocks throughout. It passes Sturgis City Park, Centennial Trail (Trail #89), Deerfield Trail (Trail #40), Black Hills National Forest and Dalton Lake. The 100 Mile course measures closer to 108 miles in practice.
