The The Fall 50 (Door County) Ultramarathon route starts at Shoreline Restaurant at Gills Rock, the tip ('Top O' the Thumb') of the Door County peninsula and finishes at Sunset Park, Sturgeon Bay. Underfoot, expect paved asphalt (no trails or gravel roads). It passes Gills Rock, Ellison Bay, Sister Bay, Ephraim and Peninsula State Park. Finish-line celebration from 1pm at Sunset Park beneath a big-top tent with a DJ, plus a post-race buffet of beer, wine, soda, pizza and breadsticks free to participants.
Solo runners start together at 6:30am; relay teams start in pace-seeded waves from 7:30am. DJ plays music at the finish-line celebration tent. 9.
