The Vermont 100 Endurance Race Ultramarathon route starts at Silver Hill Meadow, West Windsor, Vermont. Underfoot, expect mostly dirt/gravel roads and horse trails with minimal pavement: 100 Mile ~68 miles rolling dirt roads, 30 miles horse trails, 2 miles pavement; 100K ~41 miles dirt roads, 20 miles horse trails, 1 mile pavement. It passes Silver Hill Meadow, Camp 10 Bear and southern Green Mountains. Course crosses 30+ pieces of private property usable only on race weekend.
Drop bags (soft-sided, waterproof, durable, ~9x9x16in or smaller) permitted to crewed aid stations; must arrive at Silver Hill by 5:30pm on the Friday of race weekend. 25. Pacers permitted after a runner's second pass through the Camp 10 Bear aid station; runners over 60 may have a pacer for the entire race. Solo/uncrewed runners use no pacers or crew.
